The Government of Mizoram provides an online public grievance redressal platform called Mipui Aw, which means “Voice of the People” in the Mizo language. The official portal, mipuiaw.mizoram.gov.in, enables citizens to register grievances against State Government departments, monitor complaint progress, submit feedback after disposal and file an appeal if they are dissatisfied with the resolution. The platform serves as Mizoram’s centralised Public Grievance Redressal and Monitoring System (PGRMS).
Mipui Aw is administered by the Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms (DP&AR), Government of Mizoram, and has been developed by the Mizoram State e-Governance Society (MSeGS). The current version of the portal was officially launched by Chief Minister Lalduhoma on 16 February 2024 after a complete redevelopment of the earlier system. Citizens can access the portal in both English and Mizo, and first-time users can also refer to the built-in user manual and video tutorial available on the homepage.
One of the distinguishing features of Mipui Aw is its citizen feedback and appeal mechanism. After a grievance is disposed of by the concerned department, citizens can rate the quality of the resolution through the portal. If the grievance is rated “Poor”, the system automatically enables the Appeal option, allowing the matter to be reviewed by a higher authority. This promotes transparency and accountability throughout the grievance redressal process.
For grievances relating to Ministries, Departments or organisations under the Government of India, citizens should use the CPGRAMS portal instead of Mipui Aw. For CM Helpline portals across all states, read our CM Helpline India guide. If your grievance relates to the Public Distribution System, you can also refer to our Mizoram Ration Card guide.
